This map is great! I love the size of this thing! Yes, it's big, but like another person mentioned, it's not that hard to fold to the area you're going to be using for the day. - it will not take up your whole car. The map shows tons of roads, not just the main ones, and a lot of small towns not shown on other maps. We have it taped to our wall for planning right now, and will make good use of it on vacation. Would definitely buy this or any other Michelin map again. Go for it!It is big. It is very big and just paper. It is nice to look at in the hotel and get perspective. We kept it in the car in case we needed it and folded it to the area we were in.Great impractical map. First of all, this is a beautiful map. It is perfect for spreading out on a large dining room table and planning your trip to Ireland. However, it's far too large and unwieldy to use in a tiny European car driving on the left side of a narrow sheep-infested road. Think of a giant car-filling airbag. You could hang this on a wall and put pushpins in it to illustrate your trip for a large group of friends. However, it would be insane to buy it to use it in a car. Go for the AA or OSi atlases if you want a car-friendly map.
